Sometimes, a good cry is all it takes. The lip-shivering, bawling, red-eye, sulking, head burning cry is all it takes to shed it off. The weight you carry on your shoulder gets lighter, those erratically moving thoughts in your mind stay still for a while, the weight you pull in smiling goes away, and the pain in your body pulsating everytime stops and leaves you be.
Why you cry, no one will ask. Those tears are yours to shed and you decide when to. You carry this burden everyday effortlessly like a warrior, and crying your heart out doesn’t make you any less. The louder you cried, the stronger you became. Let yourself get shattered into a million pieces when you cry without the care of the world.
But after the cry, remember, those tears that you wiped were your fears that swept away, those screams were your insecurities that left your heart, those sobs were your pain that vanished as you got up. So, get up, wipe it all away, put yourself back together, piece by piece and fight the world with all your strength. For all that matters is your happiness.
